There are no known issues in more than 8000 hours of playing with this config so far. Also this config fixes an issue where you do not return to the last selected weapon from grenades/pills/medkit. The intention behind this config is, that you have everything weapons-, pills- and medkit-related on the mouse buttons so you can keep the left hand fingers on the keys for movement.

Any mouse with at least two additional buttons and a mouse wheel will work with it. This autoexec.cfg was initially built for Left 4 Dead 1 and is now used with Left 4 Dead 2. Many thanks to all who have put effort into this.
